Travel Tips for Lagos

Weather

December in Lagos is typically dry and warm with temperatures ranging from 23°C to 32°C (73°F to 90°F). We recommend light, breathable clothing and perhaps a light jacket for evenings.

Currency

The local currency is the Nigerian Naira (₦). ATMs are widely available, and major hotels and restaurants accept credit cards. It's good to have some cash on hand for small purchases and transportation.

Safety

Like any major city, it's important to be aware of your surroundings. Keep valuables secure and use reputable transportation options. Our recommended accommodations are in safe areas of the city.
